Please note that our office will be closed on the following dates:
September 1 – Labour Day
September 30 -National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
On September 30, Canada observes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honors the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities. It is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on the ongoing impacts of residential schools and to commit ourselves to reconciliation and meaningful action.
Our office will be closed on September 30 so that our team can observe this day of reflection and learning. We encourage everyone to take time to listen, learn, and engage with resources and stories from Indigenous Peoples
We acknowledge with gratitude that we live, work, and gather on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples—specifically the Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), Lekwungen (Songhees), Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay), and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Malahat Nations. We honour their enduring connection to this land and commit to meaningful reconciliation.
