May 18 - Victoria Day - Office closed
Other dates in May are days of note, including
Mother’s Day (May 10)—a time to celebrate and appreciate the care, strength, and love of mothers and caregivers.
Red Dress Day (May 5), a National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S). It’s a day to honour those who are missing and to recognize the ongoing impact this has on Indigenous communities across Canada.
We acknowledge with gratitude that we live, work, and gather on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples—specifically the Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), Lekwungen (Songhees), Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay), and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Malahat Nations. We honour their enduring connection to this land and commit to meaningful reconciliation.
