While there are no statutory holidays affecting our office hours in June, we'd like to recognize two important dates this month. Father's Day (June 21) is a time to celebrate and appreciate fathers, grandfathers, and father figures for the guidance, support, and care they bring to their families and communities.
We also recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21), a day to honor and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, contributions, and resilience of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada.
We wish everyone a meaningful and enjoyable month of June.
We acknowledge with gratitude that we live, work, and gather on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples—specifically the Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), Lekwungen (Songhees), Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay), and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Malahat Nations. We honour their enduring connection to this land and commit to meaningful reconciliation.
